Breast Pain (Mastalgia)
Is a commonly reported symptom in women. Breast pain may be associated with the menstrual cycle however a thorough history is relevant to exclude any other contributing factors. Breast imaging should routinely be performed to rule out any sinister underlying cause including mammography and breast ultrasound.
